In this pandemic situation today, after the health workers, teachers are the next level of COVID warriors, fighting for the nation and shaping the future generation with knowledge. We, the teachers are still not aware as to when things will be back to normal. So, instead of leaving everything to the future, we are planning ahead keeping one thing in mind that learning should not stop.
Teaching in this pandemic atmosphere has proven to be an extremely challenging responsibility. Most of us already have adapted to technology that we weren’t familiar with. And as a result, the working hours have increased. Our phones never seem to stop buzzing, internet data seems exhausting within 2 to 3 hours of online classes. We are trying to be passionate so that our students can enjoy the online teaching.
Earlier, teachers were not familiar with online teaching at the school or intermediate level. Now, we are choosing this virtual platform to provide precious opportunities to our upcoming generations. However this plateform always has challenges. We are unable to see the reactions of the students. We miss the most needed eye contact with our students.
However, it came as a boon to the students who otherwise would have lost valuable time for studies. All educational institutions are busy creating their online study modules. These online classes mimic a real classroom and teachers all over the globe have been able to provide an enhanced learning experience to the students with their real time interactions, video lectures, worksheets, assignments and even assessments. My sincere respect to all the teachers who have been giving their best to educate the students through a virtual platform during this pandemic situation of Covid 19. 🙏
